Features of DKM AC Small Geared Motors

DKM AC small geared motor was developed first in Korea in 1987 and has been used in a good reputation throughout the whole areas of domestic/overseas industry up to know. Our AC small geared motor having passed the certification such as CE, CCC, ISO etc. is proud of various and wide range of specification which satisfies various electrical requirements from all over the world.

Induction Motor - Constant speed with continuous operation - Stop in 2 sec. when switched off - Overrunn: 30-40 times - Possible for reverse rotation	Reversible Motor - Suitable for frequent reverse operation - Stop in 0.5 sec. when switched off - Overrun: 5-6 times - Possible for reverse rotation	Electromagnetic Brake Motor - Suitable for operation where load should be maintained - Stop in 0.2 sec. when switched off - Overrun: 2-3 times - Possible for reverse rotation	Clutch & Brake Motor - Suitable for high frequent start and stop operation - Stop in 0.1 sec. when switched off - Overrun: 1 time - Possible for reverse rotation

Features of DKM DC Small Geared Motors

- DC motor has a big starting torque and excellent mobility and when comparing with
  the same sized AC motor, the output is big and the efficiency is high.
- It is easy to control the speed and change the normal/reverse rotation.
- Comparing to AC motor, it is available to manufacture low voltage motor which can
  be applied to portable machine which uses various spec.,
  especially battery power (12V, 24V).
- Due to the wear of brush, there is a limit in the service life.
- Due to brush and commutator, noise generates when starting.
- DSD-90 Speed Controller enables to adjust the speed easily.
  (Available to connect to DC 90V motor)

DC Small Geared Motor Line-Up

Parallel Gearhead, Worm Gearhead and Inter-decimal Gearhead are available to be attached to the motor of gear type shaft of DKM possess the wide range of gear ratio from 2:1 to 360:1.

Worm Gearhead

Worm Gearheads allow the motor to be installed at the right or left axis of equipment such as conveyor belts. Worm Solid Type and Worm Hollow Type are available.

Worm Hollow Type

Gearhead output shaft is at the right angle with motor output shaft. So it allows the motor to be installed at the right angle with load side. In the maximum use of space, it is very effective.

Inter-Decimal Gearhead

In case of requiring high gear ratio that cannot be generated by single gearhead, X10 Inter-Decimal Gearhead is used with general gearhead. In this case only speed will reduce by 10:1 without torque increasing.

Extension Cable

This is for the connection between speed control motor and controller. The basic length of extension cable is 0.3m. So if longer needed, please place order additionally. There are 0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0/3.0/5.0m extension cables.
